Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This policy explains what information DailyPuzzles (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit dailypuzzles.vip, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Anonymous visitor identifier. We set a first-party cookie (dp_vid) with a random identifier so we can group your visits, run A/B tests consistently, and remember which puzzles you have completed. It does not contain your name, email, or any personal data.
  • Puzzle progress. We store cookies recording which puzzles you have opened or finished so the site can show the right completion screen when you return.
  • Consent preference. The dp_consent cookie records whether you have acknowledged the cookie notice.
  • Usage events. We record anonymous interaction events (page views, puzzle starts and completions, which ad layout you saw) for product analytics and experiment analysis. These are tied to your anonymous visitor ID, not to you.
  • Core Web Vitals. We use Vercel Analytics to measure site speed. It collects aggregate, anonymized performance data.

Third-party advertising

DailyPuzzles is ad-supported. We work with third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may set their own cookies on your device and may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and interactions with ads. They use this information to serve ads that are relevant to you and to measure ad performance.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

How we use the information

  • To serve and improve the puzzles (for example, remembering your progress).
  • To measure which layouts and features produce the best experience.
  • To show ads that help keep the site free.
  • To detect abuse (for example, blocking automated traffic).

Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)

  • Legitimate interest for anonymous analytics and fraud prevention.
  • Consent for personalized advertising where required by law. When consent is required, ad personalization is disabled until you accept the banner.

Your rights and choices

  • You can clear all cookies in your browser settings at any time.
  • You can request we delete any data associated with your anonymous ID by emailing us — see Contact.
  • EEA/UK and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Children

DailyPuzzles is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
